Skin uploads

When you publish a skin, the following is saved in our database and is publicly visible to everyone: the skin name, the optional author name you type, the optional description, the optional fluxite cost, the chosen accent color, the sprite image itself (stored as encoded image data), its pixel dimensions and the upload timestamp.

Please only enter an author name you are comfortable publishing — use a nickname rather than your real name if you prefer. Do not put personal data (email, address, phone) into the name, author or description fields; those fields are shown publicly and are not intended for personal information.

Uploads are not associated with an account or profile. The recolored secondary tool sprites are generated in your browser from the accent color; only the color value is stored, not the generated sprites.

Likes

A like only increases or decreases a counter on the skin. No identifier, IP address or profile is stored with a like — the database holds nothing but the total number. To remember which skins you already liked (so the button shows the right state), the list of liked skin IDs is kept in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.

Favorites

Favorites are entirely local. The IDs of your favorited skins are stored in your browser's local storage only and are never sent to the server. Clearing your browser data, or using another browser or device, resets both your favorites and your like history.

Reports

When you report a skin, we store the reported skin, the reason you selected, any details you write and the time of the report. Reports are only readable by the site maintainer and are used solely to review and, if needed, remove offending uploads. Do not include personal data in the details field.

Hosting and technical data

The site and its database are hosted by our infrastructure providers, which may process standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser user agent) in server logs for security and abuse prevention. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and no cookies are set for likes or favorites — those use local storage.

Removal requests

Since uploads are anonymous, use the “Report this skin” button on a skin page to request removal of content you uploaded or that infringes your rights, and describe the reason in the details field.
